I am so upset I am just learning about this. We are the Black family who pledged to LIVE OFF BLACK BUSINESS for all of 2009. The project is called The Empowerment Experiment (TM). Have you heard of us? We’ve been on CNN, MSNBC, CBS News, FOX News, BET News, front page of the Tribune, LA Times, and Tom Joyner and Doug Banks, and in countless other radio shows, TV programs, magazines and newspapers. If you have this month’s Black Enterprise, you’ll see uas on page 57. We shopped at Farmers Best until it closed in July. We’ve been scrambling since then, using caterers, ordering in, going to Black farmers markets. We are so excited about the opportunity to support you and lift you up.
